Women Inspiring Women: A Powerful Movement in Business and Work

In today’s fast-evolving professional landscape, women are not just breaking new records—they are lifting others as they rise. The phrase "women inspiring women" has taken on new significance, as female leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals create networks of empowerment, mentorship, and innovation. This movement is reshaping industries, workplaces, and the broader economy, proving that success is best when shared.

Our team at The Quality Coach is hosting our 2nd annual Galentine’s event Women Inspiring Women. On February 13, the Galentine’s event will feature three female entrepreneurs: Angela Garland, co-founder of Exit 11 Coffee; Lorri Keenum, founder of C2 Service Group; and Deb Giffen, founder of HRM Properties/Swallow’s Nest. These trailblazing women will be sharing their stories, including their challenges, their quest for new opportunities, and their passion for giving back to others in their business and community, which includes mentoring other females.

This year’s Galentine’s event is SOLD OUT  well before ticket sales closed. What does this tell us? We feel that part of this is due to the draw of the great female fireside speakers—no doubt! In addition, there is an overwhelming sense that women, in general, need to receive and give inspiration and support in order to thrive. Coming together to connect with one another is needed and in high demand.

Studies have shown that women who are supported and encouraged are more likely to advance in their careers, develop confidence, and take on leadership roles.

If your organization is looking to foster a culture of women inspiring women, here are a few items to consider for your “To Do” list:

  • Be a Mentor: Offer guidance and support to women entering your field or climbing the corporate ladder.

  • Celebrate Female Success: Acknowledge and amplify the achievements of your female colleagues and peers.

  • Build Supportive Networks: Join or create women-led professional groups that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Encourage the Next Generation: Inspire young girls to pursue careers in business, manufacturing, construction, engineering, finance, etc., and build leadership through education and outreach.

Women inspiring women is more than a trend—it is a transformative movement shaping the future of business and work. By fostering mentorship, supporting female-led ventures, and advocating for inclusivity, women are not only redefining success but ensuring that it is accessible to all. As more women uplift and empower one another, the professional world will continue to evolve into a more dynamic space for generations to come.

And in closing thank you to our fireside chat speakers for their inspiration and vulnerability in sharing their stories at our upcoming event Women Inspiring Women 2025.  Thank you to Angela, Lorri and Deb!
