Loyalty Redefined
We often hear that the newer, younger generation isn’t as loyal as those before them. We have come to find that loyalty is a two-way street. This younger generation is a product of the environment of watching their parents/grandparents have undying loyalty to an organization only to be “downsized”. It now takes work on both sides to form loyalty.
Loyalty isn’t going away, it’s being redefined. Younger generations still have loyalty and strong work ethic but they don’t want to work the way the generations before them did and they want to work for a greater cause then just earning a paycheck. Show them why their work matters and the impact they have on the organization and you are sure to see a shift in the culture.
Respect is earned
Honesty is appreciated
Trust is gained
Loyalty is returned
